Guests can also walk to several restaurants in the immediate area of the hotel but apart from the shuttle, a car is best for shopping and accessing other attractions.

Jackets suggested. Bar Luna - This clubby lounge located in the Grand Piazza features an extensive wine library, signature cocktails, and an exclusive selection of cigars. Mizner’s Monkey Bar - Dedicated to the eccentric Addison Mizner's renowned love of monkeys (Mizner founded the hotel in 1926 and was often seen walking around the resort in silk pajamas, monkeys in tow), this bar features themed cocktails and beverages as well as live entertainment.

Originally constructed by famous Florida-coast architect Addison Mizner as The Cloister Inn in 1926, the Boca Raton Resort & Club has a long and illustrious history. Through the years, the resort (which was at one point a private club, and at another was commandeered by the army for officer barracks) has housed the likes of Harold Vanderbilt, Elizabeth Arden, Herbert Hoover, and numerous other luminaries. Located on 356 acres in the heart of Florida's Gold Coast, the newly renovated resort offers amenities including two 18-hole championship golf courses, 30 tennis courts, a 32-slip marina, and a full-service spa with Moorish-style baths. Several swimming pools, three state-of-the-art fitness centers, and a half-mile stretch of private beach with a variety of water sports also grace the property. In addition, the resort features an outstanding selection of dining options, a top-notch business center (with T1 high-speed Internet access), and a comprehensive children's program. Recreation abounds at the Boca Raton Resort & Club, which sits on a half-mile of pristine beachfront and features a wealth of leisure activities. In addition to two swimming pools and the full-service spa, the resort offers water sports, private cabanas, and beach-butler service. Guests can practice their serves at the state-of-the-art tennis center, which functions as the resort headquarters for the United States Professional Tennis Association, and has 30 clay-based courts, clinics and lessons, and an extensive pro shop. In addition, there are three separate fitness centers on the property: All offer cardio equipment and saunas, and one also has a lap pool, indoor basketball half court, and racquetball courts. The resort’s 32-slip marina provides easy access to fishing and sailing charters, scuba-diving excursions, catamaran cruises, Everglades tours, and additional ways to get out on the water. The resort’s other main focus is its two 18-hole championship golf courses, both of which have fully-stocked pro shops and complete practice facilities. The Boca Raton Resort & Club is also home to the Dave Pelz Short Game Golf School and the Boca Raton Resort & Club Golf Academy.
